Driving Directions from Santa Fe, NM to Winnetka, IL
Here's a rough draft of the first part of the trip- 3600 miles from Santa Fe (NM) through Telluride, (CO), Arches National Park (UT), Mesa Verde NP (CO), Grand Canyon (AZ), Las Vegas (NV), Jackson Hole (WY), Yellowstone NP (WY), Badlands (SD), Minneapolis (MN) and finally my hometown of Winnetka (IL).

62 hours of driving according to MapQuest. We are thinking of taking about two weeks to get to Chicagoland.
Beyond that all that remains is another 1000 miles to Dorset, VT so we're looking at about 4600 miles total.
Anyone want to take a guess as to total cost of fuel on this trip? I'm guessing the truck with everything in it is going to average around 14mpg (nice). Closest to the mark will get some chintzy souvenir from our travels.
